Abschlusswiderstand
Ein Abschlusswiderstand (auch Terminator genannt) ist ein elektrisches Bauteil, das am Ende einer Übertragungsleitung platziert wird, um Signalreflexionen zu verhindern. Er passt den Widerstand am Leitungsende an den Wellenwiderstand des Kabels an, sodass das Signal absorbiert wird, anstatt zum Sender zurückzuprallen.
